Iglesia Inmaculada Concepcion Church
Ujerras, Costa Rica. Costa Rica's oldest church, built between 1575 and 1580. The story of this Spanish Colonial church is that indigenous Huetar Indian fishermen found the Virgin Mary's image on a box here which they were unable to remove from the location, so they built the church on this site.
